In 1988, Chief Executive Athlete Dave Behar and Hall of Famer + Olympic Gold Medalist Chris Marlowe, founded the Legends of Pro Beach Volleyball. The Legends – mostly Hall of Famers were assembled with the Finals broadcast nationally. Behar was the Founder of I DIG, the brand that pioneered so much in the early days of “Volleywear” as the brand was distributed worldwide.
In November 2024 the 35th Anniversary – ION will broadcast the ION AVL Legends of Pro Beach Volleyball, featuring today’s Legends.
