“I can’t think of a better way to celebrate LA Fleet Week and treat our military guests and the visiting public to a signature Southern California experience then to have The Beach Boys play on the LA Waterfront on Labor Day weekend,” said Jonathan Williams, president of the LA Fleet Week Foundation. “Thanks in large part to the Annenberg Foundation and other LA Fleet Week sponsors, we’ve signed a number of other terrific acts this year, adding to a great roster of LA Fleet Week entertainment that the whole family can enjoy.”

“We are excited to visit the Port of Los Angeles, play for the men and women of our United States Sea Services and be a part of LA Fleet Week 2018,” added co-founder and chief lyricist of The Beach Boys, Mike Love. “We are looking forward to returning to Southern California for concerts at Fleet Week, the LA County Fair and other popular venues!”

The Beach Boys are led by Mike Love and Bruce Johnston, who along with Jeffrey Foskett, Tim Bonhomme, John Cowsill, Keith Hubacher, Scott Totten and Christian Love continue the legacy of America’s iconic band. For this special LA Fleet Week performance, honorary Beach Boy John Stamos will join the band on drums.

With the Battleship IOWA as the backdrop, the evening entertainment during LA Fleet Week will play on the Delta Air Lines main stage, thanks to their partnership with the Bob Hope USO, the local nonprofit organization charged with providing support to our service members while they are in port for LA Fleet Week.

Great Music All Weekend!
On Friday afternoon (Aug. 31), American Idol finalist Jo Kross will perform, followed by The Voice show runner-up Michaela Paige.
